Program Information

March Break Tours (Monday to Friday)

Before your tour, you will connect with current students. Your visit will begin with a virtual residence tour, followed by a guided walk around campus, where we’ll showcase our beautiful green spaces, buildings, and residence.

Families who wish to connect with a student support expert after their tour can do so at the Welcome Centre, where individual meetings will be available.

UWinAward Application Presentation

Interested in learning about scholarships, bursaries and options for financing your university education?  This session will connect you with our Student Awards & Financial Aid team who will walk you through the steps to being financially prepared for your educational journey.

FAHSS-tastic March Break Race

This exciting competition will showcase the incredible programs within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (FAHSS). Individuals OR Teams will race around main campus, solving clues and discovering programs while testing their creativity and leadership. Whether you’re in grade 9, 10, 11, 12, thinking about joining us as a college transfer, or you are just curious about FAHSS, this is your chance to learn, explore, and have fun! Don't miss out on this March Break Adventure—where exploring FAHSS meets excitement!

Engineering Program Information Day

Please join us for the Engineering Program Information Day on March 11th! We will have booths available for each engineering program, giving you the opportunity to talk with students and faculty in civil, electrical, environmental, industrial, mechanical, and mechatronic systems engineering. Which one will help you build your future career? Our students will guide you around the building and share their experiences with you. Drop in any time between 11:00AM and 3:00PM!

Experience Nursing Day

Looking for something to do on your March break?  You are invited to join us for an exclusive applicant event on Monday, March 10th!  During the event you’ll have the opportunity to hear more about the Nursing program, ask questions, visit a lab and participate in activities with our Peer Mentors, and attend a lecture in our Year 1 Pharmacology & Medication Management course.

Science Shadow Day

You are invited to our campus for Science Shadow Day on March 14th! Join our undergraduate Science Student Ambassadors for a tour of our Science facilities, a visit to a first-year science class, and a chance to ask all the questions you might have.  Come learn about life as a Science student at UWindsor! Free lunch will be provided (11:00AM session only). Students also have the option of a Science Tour only, at 2:00 pm. Register now! Spots are already filling up.

FNMI Students: Connect, Explore, and Discover the University of Windsor!

Are you an Indigenous (First Nations, Metis, Inuit) high school student ready to Connect, Explore, and Discover the University of Windsor? Whether you’re in grade 9, 10, or 11 and just beginning to consider your post-secondary options or already an admitted applicant to the University of Windsor, this informative session will prepare you for the next steps on your education journey. You will connect with our Indigenous Enrolment Advisor, as well as Indigenous students and other members of our Indigenous team, to explore the University of Windsor and discover our academic programs and Indigenous services.

During this session, you will:

  • Connect with the Indigenous Enrolment Advisor and Indigenous students currently studying at the university or entering first year this fall
  • Get insights into UWindsor’s programs, campus life, and Indigenous student support services
  • Learn about scholarships, tuition, and life as a Lancer
  • Receive expert guidance on the application and admissions process
  • Take a guided tour of our riverside campus showcasing many highlights and points of personal interest, based on your program(s) of interest.

Are you an international high school student studying in Ontario and considering your next steps for university? Join us for the UWindsor March Break Drop-In with our International Enrolment Advisor, an exclusive opportunity to explore the University of Windsor, learn about our academic programs, and receive expert guidance on the application and admission process.

During this session, you will:

  • Get insights into UWindsor’s programs, campus life, and student support services
  • Receive step-by-step guidance on the application process
  • Connect one-on-one with an International Enrolment Advisor to get personalized answers to your questions
  • Learn about scholarships, tuition, and life as a Lancer

Drop in anytime during the session—registration is encouraged but not required. Take this opportunity to start your journey to UWindsor!

Student for the Day

Interested in knowing what it is like to be an Odette student? Why not be a student for a day to experience it for yourself! You’ll be paired with an Odette student who shares similar business interests as you! You have the opportunity to sit in at a lecture, meet other students and professors and learn about the HOUSE program at Odette.

Success Beyond Limits

Join us for a day exploring academic pathways and support systems specially designed for Black students. You will visit with Engineering, Nursing, Human Kinetics, and Education. Talk with our Black Student Success Coordinator. Enjoy the chance to walk around our campus and grab some lunch (for purchase) in our Student Centre. Register now!

Transfer and Mature Student Tours
